Vintage 9ct Gold St. Christopher's Pendant Charm by Paul Vincze

A rare gold pendant charm by Paul Vincze, who was a highly esteemed Hungarian-born British sculptor and medalist.

Born in Budapest, his artistic journey led him to study at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts before establishing himself in London. Notable for his portraiture, Vincze crafted likenesses of numerous world leaders, dignitaries, and cultural figures. His keen ability to convey personality and emotion through his work set him apart as a gifted portrait artist. Among his notable contributions are the designs for various coins, including those commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. 

Although not officially recognised, St Christopher is considered by many to be the patron saint of travellers and children and pendants have become the gift of choice for those whom we seek to protect.
